This week at St Mark's (19-12-2021)

Hi everyone,

This Sunday we have communion services at 8:15am (church) and 10am (hall).  Then on Sunday evening we have two services (same program offered twice) of Readings & Carols- 5pm and 7pm in the church building.  Pre-registration is not required for the two morning services, but is required for the services at 5pm and 7pm.  Please go here to book in

I can also advise that, as of this Sunday, masks will no longer be compulsory at our services (although people are still very welcome to wear a mask if they choose to).

The 10am service will be live-streamed and can be accessed here:  As always, our service and sermon outlines for this week are also available here:

The church Parish Council met on Monday night and some of the key outcomes of that meeting were:

approved the 2022 budget

approved mission partner funding allocations for 2022 (on recommendation of the Missions Working Group) – more than $100,000 will be given to mission next year

received word that we have been successful in obtaining a grant from the NSW government ($12,500) to upgrade the lighting in the hall and in the church building

received a report on recently completed property improvements:

repairs to hall floor

upgrade of fire safety features around the property

purchase of a defibrillator which will likely be installed near the entrance to the men’s toilet

Yours in the service of Christ,
